“Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat, please put a penny in the old mans hat. If you haven’t got a penny, a half penny’ll do, if you haven’t got a half penny then God bless you!”

The annual Christmas musical was back at NAHS, bigger and better than ever.
This week, NAHS theater department traveled to 14 different schools to perform their mini musical act. The group also performed in front of NAHS juniors and seniors.
“I love how we’ve meshed together Willy Wonka and the Wizard of Oz,” 3-year member of the theater, and 11th grader, Julia Brown said.
Brown explained that the musical this year doesn’t rhyme like years past, but is still a very fun, and exciting mini musical.
“I think that, for me, one of the most profound realizations that I’ve had since I was offered this position is how much this means to the community. A beloved tradition that is an absolute honor to be apart of facilitating the continuance of and boy does it get me in the holiday spirit!” Gina Cisto, director of the NAHS drama department, said.
