Homemade halloween candles
By Kayln Reyer
The shelves are filled with creepy crawly decorations preparing every house for a night full of ghosts and goblins. This October frighten your guests and not your bank account by making homemade Halloween crafts and decorations.
Step One: Get a glass container or jar, you can purchase a Halloween jar like this one or use a regular glass jar and draw on Halloween decorations. This Jar was 50 cents at Target.
Step Two: Get a package of solid candle wax. You can get unscented or scented. This package is scented and was $1.00 at Target.
Step Three: Open the package and break apart the squares into smaller pieces. After they’re broken apart hold one square over the jar and begin to melt the wax into it. Continue to do this for all of the squares in the package.
Step Four: Once you have melted all of the squares allow the liquid wax to sit for 2-3 minutes. After the wax is slightly dry stick the wick into the center of the candle and allow it to sit for 5-10 more minutes.
Step Five: Once the candle wax is dry and the wick is placed and staying in place properly you can clean up any spilt wax around the edges.
Step Six: You’re done! You can light and enjoy your new Halloween candle.
