In the second round of sectionals, the boys basketball team topped Floyd Central to advance to the finals March 2. During the season, Bulldogs had a record of 16-10 (5-4 in conference). One of those losses was to Floyd Central by seven points (44-37); the loss had broken a 41 home game winning streak.
There is something remarkable about rivalries. They bring so much passion and energy into games, and they make redemption feel so sweet.
