Senior wide receiver Ravon Wright started the game off with a 63-yard return for a touchdown on the opening kickoff, NAHS never looked back from that point, going on to win 28-0.
Senior running back Tuwan Payton led the way to victory running for 220 yards and two touchdowns on the night.
“It felt good to win, we needed to beat Providence,” Payton said. “It felt good to lead the team as a senior, but in all it was really a team effort.”
The Bulldogs started the season off with a big win and now they look to beat the team that has been a thorn in their side for years. The team travels to Castle Friday night and will try to start the season off with two big wins.
