Adam Jackson is no ordinary student. As a senior, Jackson is a local music fanatic. While juggling work, school, and raising a two-year-old rooster named Buzzard, Jackson still finds the time to do what he loves, play music.
Q: Who or what has influenced you to get interested in music?
A: My dad played the guitar and he would always play the same three chords (G, C, D). I got so aggravated from listening to those same three chords and I bet my dad I could learn those three chords in a day, and I did. I’ve been playing ever since.
Q: What’s your favorite local band?
A: My favorite local band is Po’ Brothers. They recently moved to Seattle in hopes to find a better music scene. They are a band that drives me to keep playing.
Q: What are your future goals?
A: I want to own my own music store and teach music.
Q: What type of instruments do you play?
A: I play guitar, bass, banjo, percussion, and piano.
