Chief Keef
Early yesterday morning on Twitter, a 26 second video with a possible Cheif Keef and Lil Uzi Vert collaboration was posted.
In the video you can hear Uzi’s voice, his signature autotune, mixed with Keef putting in some vocals as well.
This collaboration might end up on his new project The Dedication, which Chief had announced last spring. No date was set, so it’s to be expected anytime soon; that video wasn’t the only video “Sosa” put out yesterday. The music video for his album single “Mailbox” for The Dedication can be found on his YouTube channel.
This year has been a very busy one for the 22-year-old rapper. He has put out three projects already, his most recent being The W. The Chicago native is also set to be the star of a documentary on his life produced by Apple Music.
Kodak Black
In 2014, Kodak Black, the popular and controversial rapper from Pompano Beach, Florida, gave us “No Flockin”, the song that led to his career taking off. Last night, he gave us two new tracks inspired by his breakout song.
Cardi B currently sits second on the Billboard Hot 100 with her song “Bodak Yellow”. The song was a remake of Kodak’s flow in “No Flockin”. Last night Cardi dropped the official remix for “Bodak Yellow” featuring the 20 year old rapper himself.
Kodak didn’t stop there. He then posted a music video for “No Flockin 2 (Bodak Orange)” on his YouTube Channel. The song was a follow up from his previous banger.
In the video, Kodak is seen flexing with his private jet and tarmac, as well as a bunch of cash. The visuals were directed and edited by the rapper himself.
