Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari is a famous waterpark located in Santa Claus. It’s a holiday-themed amusement park with lands such as Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. It is on Lake Michigan and has so many things around to have a fun-filled day at the beach. This place has many public service options that include, Several barbecue grills, picnic tables, campgrounds, hiking, all the way to horseback riding, and it’s dog and animal friendly. The Indiana Dunes have free passes that can be purchased by going to the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center. So, it’s highly suggested to take a trip to visit Indiana Dunes Beach over summer break.

Fresco’s is at the base of the walking bridge on the Jeffersonville side. There are games inside and outside of the cafe for people to play, with a gigantic field bedside it for people to run around and play catch in. French Lick is a resort and waterpark all in one in the French Lick, Indiana area. This resort is a fairly cheap trip since it isn’t super well known out of Kentuckiana. This resort has so many amenities and activities to try out. There is a golf course, casino, plenty of restaurants, spas, wedding venues, a huge famous waterpark, and even concerts. Two famous country artists performing there this summer are Jake Owen and Kip Moore. This is a great week or four-day vacation for families to take that has a little bit of everything for different types of individuals to enjoy. If you’re looking for different water activities then, take a weekend trip to the lake! Lake Monroe and Patoka Lake in Indiana are both popular lakes that so many people recommend. You can go tubing, skiing, boating, and much more. You can rent boats and jetskis for the weekend or a day and the time of your life. Patoka Lake is the second largest reservoir in the U.S. according to workforindiana.in.gov. If one is into fishing, both of these lakes have all types of fish like your basic Bluegills and Striped bass, Largemouth bass, Yellow perch, Walleye, Redear sunfish, and Longear sunfish. There are bunches of other fishies and creatures as well.
