Bulldog athletes are all shapes and size; they all have different skills that make them proficient in their sport of choice. Game day isn’t the only day student athletes are focusing on their sport.
When freshman Neil Robinson is not running cross country, he can be found on the baseball field representing the Bulldogs.
School // “During the week the only thing you want to do is play,” Neil said. “I stay on top of my grades so I know I can lace up my baseball cleats every time we have a game.”
Superstition // “I never step on the foul line before a game. It’s something that I think every player might do but I feel if I step on it I’m automatically due for a bad game.”
Pregame // “Before every game I make sure I listen to Taylor Swift. I listen to my music to get me in the zone but the last song I listen to is by Taylor.”
Health // “I try to stay healthy year round but especially during my seasons. I know that I need to be in the best shape possible in order to not let my coach and teammates down. There is nothing that I specifically eat during the week of games or meets.”
