For fashion, fall seems to be its favorite season. With cooler weather approaching, this time of year requires additional clothing that most people with a love for the season don’t mind adding.
In the spring and summer months, clothing becomes a hassle and is, in most cases, reduced to a minimum. The best thing about fall fashion is being able to wear clothing that is the opposite of minimal, though. In fact, it can get pretty excessive with layering, outerwear and accessories that are included and without a certain idea in mind.
But this fall season may have distinctive qualities. Color palettes involve blacks and whites, of course, and bold oranges. Warm colors are always welcomed around this time of year; however, bold colors aren’t usually acceptable, making this year a significant step in fashion.
As for layering and outerwear, utility jackets as well as fur and long, boxy coats are present this season. These pieces are apparent every season, though, and the real treasure lies in what is beneath them. Garments seen on runways this season include asymmetrical dresses, snakeskin prints, high slits, polka dots and lace collars.
And last but certainly not least – shoes and accessories. This season clutches (instead of large bags) are being brought back, booties are everywhere and lace is being placed on anything you could imagine.
With fall, and October especially, being the most fun time for fashion, it is essential to take advantage of the weather while it lasts. Be bold with your choices because the opportunity is fleeting as quickly as the leaves are changing!
