Everyone has something they are good at. Some people are born with it, while others work at perfecting their skills. Junior Hannah Manger, 3-year member of the NAHS swim team, has been swimming for the past twelve years, and has already managed to break a record or two. Manger is motivated, hardworking, and is determined to make her last years at NAHS count.

1:42.3; 10 0 backstroke 59.27

A: Yes

A: I haven’t made any decisions yet, but I’m looking at a lot of different places.
Q: Do you have any favorite swimmers?
A: Ryan Lochte and Natalie Coughlin
Q: Any recent accomplishments?
A: As a team we got second at Conference.
Q: What’s the hardest part about being a swimmer?
A: I think it’s the long hours of training and there’s not much immediate reward. You can’t have a best time (personal record) every time you swim. Staying motivated is a challenge.
Q: What’s your favorite stroke?
A: I prefer middle distance and stroke such as the 200 IM, 200 butterfly, 200 backstroke, and 200 breaststroke.
Q: How is your season going? What do you expect for next year?
A: This season has been a test for me physically, after going through physical therapy for my shoulders over the summer. I’m expecting to improve more for next year and prepare for college.
