WildLights: Asian Lantern Festival Review
Held at the Louisville Zoo as part of the party for the planet initiative by LG&E, KU and T-Mobile
March 16, 2020
Visiting the festival was super fun and I’d totally do again! The colors were absolutely stunning. I was able to take lots of cute photos with my family and of the amazing pieces of artwork. Plus the proceeds went to a good cause. Overall, I would rate the experience a 10/10. The only thing that could have made it better is if we could have experienced the food and show like originally scheduled, however, I don’t blame the zoo for trying to make things safer and healthier for everyone.
Hanging butterflies shine brightly above your head as you walk through the start of the trail. The Plaza to Little Penguins features the Tree gate, the giraffe corridor, goldfish with bubbles and this amazing butterfly gallery.
