August 18 screamed with Bulldog fans preparing for the big game. At the ritual tailgating experience students slathered as much black paint on as they could for the black out season opener. Popular amongst was hanging out with friends, dancing to music, cheering, and getting a turn at the paint slide. The New Albany Bulldogs, led by first-year Head Coach Steve Cooley, shut out the Providence Pioneers 34-0.
