Lady Bulldogs fall to the Devils at home

Last night the Lady Bulldogs took on the Jeffersonville Lady Red Devils. With a slow start, the Bulldogs trailed the Devils in the first quarter. They started to gain in the second quarter leaving the court after the first half with a 14 point deficit.

After half, the Bulldogs emotions got the best of them and they ended up with a 48 to 68 loss.

Between the energetic crowd, rivalry tensions, and poor calls on both sides, the game kept up a fast and intense pace. Both teams let sloppy plays and blatant fouls take ahold of the scorebook many times. The Bulldogs had 8 fouls at the end of the first half to the Devils 10. At the end of the game both teams racked up almost 20 fouls each; even a spectator got a foul.

The Bulldogs are tied in the conference with Jeffersonville and Bedford.

Next up, the Dogs will travel to Columbus East January 22, then host Seymour January 25. The sectional draw is Sunday, January 21.
