Monday, May 5 the New Albany Unified Track team competed against Floyd Central in long jump, shot put, the 100 meter dash, the 400 meter, and 4 by 100 meter relay. Unified Track is a team of remarkable individuals; composed of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and volunteer NA students. Through Unified Track, students gain the experience of being a team and team work.

“I enjoy doing it because the boys and girls that are on the team are so much fun to be around,” Junior Jacob Bratcher said. “I think it is a great opportunity for them to be apart of a team and enjoy themselves. My favorite part of this year is seeing how much fun the team had together.”

Unified Track competes only twice a year, so set your calendars next year to come out to the events.
