The Elusive iPhone 5… Err… 4S…
People have been hotly anticipating Apple to release the next generation of iPhone. Money has been saved and upgrades have been held off on for months in preparation of the next best thing in Apple merchandise. It was announced on October 4th that there would, in fact, be no iPhone 5 just yet. Apple revealed their next iPhone product, the iPhone 4S. While the fifth generation will have to hold off for a while more, the iPhone 4S is sure to be packed with amazing new features. But one waiting months upon end for the iPhone 5 could not help but be a tad disappointed in this underwhelming development.
Harvest Homecoming
It’s the event New Albany is known for: Harvest Homecoming. A major town favorite, tons of people wait all year for the event. People crowd the streets of downtown New Albany to partake in festive fall activity. Harvest Homecoming tradition has already begun. The Harvest Homecoming Parade took place this past Saturday. The booths will open on Thursday afternoon and run until Sunday.
Volleyball Storms Ahead
The Lady Bulldogs defeated yet another rival on October 4, steamrolling the Providence Pioneers in three straight sets (25-11, 25-12, 25-22). Bulldog volleyball has been great this year with an impressive record, 24-7. They have partaken in a few tournaments as well, winning the Active Ankle Challenge. Be sure to come watch and support the Bulldogs as they take on Floyd Central and Seymour in the Conference tournament.
