Zero tolerance O’l reliable Melee Beware Interrogate Escape Survive
By Tiana Bruce
A zombie apocalypse breaks out during school, could a NAHS student survive it? Follow the necessary steps, and there might be a chance of surviving.
Step One-Prepare.
Be ready for what you’re about to face. It could take months to years for the government to assist. You’ll need to have an idea where to go, what to do, who’s going with you. If you must leave the school, go somewhere with food and ammunition. Whether you’re a melee weapon person or a gun/bow person, you’ll need an idea of where to get it out.
Step Two-Stay Together.
Get your most trustworthy, responsible friends and keep them close. Don’t separate. Keep in mind people who can run fast. Everyone needs a weapon of some sort. Once you have your group picked out, isolate yourselves from the crowds of people in the school. The more people there are, the more noise there is.
Step Three-Trust Instincts
Hear scratching on the door? Don’t open that door. Instincts are the best thing to follow during a zombie apocalypse. If your mind is screaming, “run” when you want to stand and fight, you should probably make a get away. When a zombie is down, double check. An injured zombie isn’t a dead zombie. If there’s any reason you feel like the zombie isn’t dead, or to go check the door or something, do it. Better safe than sorry.
Step Four-Safe Haven
If you’re looking for a place to lay low, find somewhere with few doors and windows and barricade yourself in. Have an escape route, just in case. Store food, ammo, and medical essentials. Be ready to wait it out, if you can. If you have to leave the school, know where you’re going. Have a general idea of safe places to go, and back ups in case those are overpopulated with the undead.
Step Five-Survive
Protect yourself, your friends/family, and the homestead. Zombies are mindless creatures, but they’re ruthless. If anyone is bitten, be willing to do what is needed to be done. Fight back, but don’t be heartless. If someone is in need of assistance, don’t hesitate trying to help. We’re all in this together. But have a fine line between protecting others and suicide. Be willing to do what needs to be done to survive.
Always remember Z.O.M.B.I.E.S. Zero tolerance for people and zombies. O’l reliable is your number one weapon, always have it. Melees should always be with you in case of emergency. Interrogate everyone and everything; keep your trust low. Escape from the school when necessary. Survive above all costs.
