“That’s so last season.” Seasons bring changed temperatures and changed colors. Fashion brings changed statements and changed styles.

When the temperature changes, colors change too. Everyone knows bright colors follow summer, warm deeper colors are fall, and the cool colors run with winter. You can guess the season by the colors you see around you.

Dogs lab teacher, Mrs. Ferguson-Bellew, makes changes to her wardrobe due to the transition from summer to fall. “I definitely switch to deeper colors,” says Ferguson-Bellew.

Hair for some is just as much of a big deal as the cloths they wear on their very backs. Making new statements by changing the style, and coloration of their hair is something that becomes expected. Blonde, brown, black, purple, short, or long, all say just as many words as the next. When the season changes, generally people want to follow the status quo. The length could go either way, but the color is more particular. For example, if it’s sunny a winter cool color isn’t as relevant a brighter summer shade.

“I change the length of my hair every time the weather changes up, I wear my extensions when it’s colder out,” sophomore Mercedes Storms, said.

Your purse or your handbag also says a lot about you. Length is different from hair, that is because short and flashy is a summer trend, and darker, furry is a winter trend. Fall is the season of unusual and in between. When choosing a handbag mainly the texture and color come into play on your seasonal choice.

“A woman’s mind is as complex as the contents of her handbag,” says, Billy Connelly, actor and commedian.

Out with the old, and in with the new, as our seasons change, our styles change. It’s rational to change as the temperature changes because, you shouldn’t dwell on staying the same all the time. Coco Chanel says, “In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.”
