What’s up, my name is Mary Kate and this is my second year on The Blotter staff as a reporter. I have always loved journalism so being apart of the staff has been so fun for me. I primarily enjoy writing feature stories- I love taking a more creative approach to a story, especially when I can highlight something special about a student at NAHS. I tend to write more descriptive detail-filled stories. I also appreciate how being involved with journalism forces me to stay updated on current events/political news, seeing as this is also very important to me. However, my favorite aspect of being on the staff has to be the wonderful people I’ve met along the way- we are truly a family here on The Blotter.
