Do it yourself: Caramel Apples

Store bought caramel apples: 3 for $5 (excluding M&M’s)
Homemade caramel apples: 3 for $2.79
Making caramel apples at home is a great activity for the family, saves you money, and lets you customize them however you like!
Ingredients for caramel apples:
-Red Delicious Apples (or any apple you prefer)
-Kroger brand caramel bark (1 pack)
-Kroger brand peanuts (1 pack)
-Package of M&M’s (1 pack)
– 1 package of Kabob sticks (already had)
– Wax paper (already had)
Step 1:
Melt caramel bark into a medium sized pan while stirring frequently until caramel topping is completely melted.
Step 2:
Break or cut the kabob sticks in half, and place one in the center of each apple carefully.
Step 3:
Dip each apple into the caramel topping and immediately dip each into the candy topping.
Step 4:
After dipping all apples into the caramel and candy topping, place them on wax paper to dry.
Step 5:
Enjoy your homemade, less costly caramel apples for a delicious halloween desert!
