The roar of fighter jets over Capitol Hill on September 3 as survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking spoke out was no accident of timing. It felt like a reminder that power shields itself, that the wealthy live by a different set of rules than the rest of us, and that even when justice seems near, it vanishes at 800 feet above the streets of Washington D.C.

Epstein’s shadow lingers not just because of who he was, but because of who stood close to him. Among Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitz, one name towers above the rest: Donald Trump. The question writes itself – What are you hiding, Mr. President?

Jeffrey Epstein, a wealthy financier and convicted child sex offender, was not only infamous for the crimes he committed but also for the powerful social circle he cultivated. Among those in his orbit, was the aforementioned Donald Trump. In the 1990s and early 2000s, Trump and Epstein were photographed together at Trump’s Palm Beach Resort, Mar-a-Lago as well as other high society events. Trump also once described Epstein as a “terrific guy” who “likes beautiful women as much as I do, many of them on the younger side.”

Trump has since attempted to distance himself, claiming that he was “not a fan” after a falling-out in the early 2000s. But his distance doesn’t erase proximity and his denial doesn’t erase accountability. Epstein’s death in 2019, ruled a suicide, has since fueled widespread conspiracy theories that he was silenced to protect members of his aforementioned powerful social circles containing names of Presidents and Royals. Whether fact or speculation, the lingering secrecy and lack of knowledge released to the public kindles suspicion.

The allegations against President Trump are serious. Very serious. A woman identified as “Jane Doe” once filed a lawsuit claiming Trump raped her when she was 13, at an Epstein party. Though later dropped, the accusation sits alongside at least 28 other claims of sexual misconduct spanning decades. Trump himself once bragged about barging in on teenage pageant contestants while they were undressed, a statement he later made attempts to retract.

Yet, back in The White House, Trump’s tone has shifted. In February 2025, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi admitted that [The Client List] sat on her desk, under review. By summer, a DOJ memo declared “no list exists” and insisted Epstein acted alone. This reversal outraged survivors and the public alike. If there’s nothing to hide, why do Republican members of Congress block release of new unredacted files? Why do they claim it’s a “Democratic Hoax” then go on to ‘confess’ that Trump was an “FBI Informant”? Why do we let Congress stall the truth?

People are furious. The survivors are furious. I am furious. We want answers – the survivors of Epstein’s decades-long abuse want answers.

Not a recording of the exterior of his cell the night he died – which has a full three minutes missing from the tape. The American people deserve the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Every single file, email, deposition, testimony and name connected to Jeffrey Epstein should be released without being “scrubbed,” and without protection from The White House. Trump, Clinton, and whomever else involved with Epstein should be brought forward now, and, whom I consider accomplices after the fact, should never speak in the public eye again after facing justice. If people like Trump have nothing to hide, then they should be the first to demand the full release of these files.

But until then, the question echoes louder day after day and it seems that it shall until perhaps the end of time – What are you hiding, Mr. President?
